OK, here's a story about a possessed 855glt. I bought the car last Oct and did all of the maintenance that I picked up here and Bay 13. Havent had any kind of fault cose or hichup since XMAS. Three times now I've had an incidence while driving, where the doors automaticly locked, the tach drops to zero, and the radio goes off. The first time was with the car running outside my office, I had the tail gate open loading things when I heard the doors lock. I crawled over the seats and opened the back door, then the front and drove off. Once a minute the tach would drop, the radio would go off then eveything would be fine. A week ago leaving the office, pulling out in traffic, thunk, the doors locked and the radio and tach acted up again. Today, leaving the office, sitting at a light a block away, did the same thing, this time, you could hear a current surge. When the light changed as I drove off, the tach thing hit again, this time the engine stumbled. I tried unlocking the car with the remote, and it worked then 10 seconds later locked again. Anyone ever heard of electrical interferance causeing the doors to lock? LIke something near my office transmitting something? NEver did it anywhere more than two blocks from the office, and doesn't do it everyday, thank goodness. I have to pull over, unlock the door, turn off the car, and restart it to get the radio and tach from acting up. It almost seems like there is an anti-carjack feature, but I can't find anything in the manual, and there is no aftermarket alarm. Any Ideas? Thanks, Chuck.
