Does anyone else have a weak a/c blower/fan? 850 1993

Only recently purhased this 1993 Volvo 850, and am new to Volvo's, so I don't know if the relatively low volume of air moved by my a/c or heater fan is simply normal for the car.

The filter's clean. Oh, and the fan does seem kind of loud, but it doesn't sound bad exactly, it's just that when you switch it of you notice how very much quieter things are.

Anyone see this sort of thing? And/or any suggestions?
