New to the site...it's great...just picked up our first volvo...a used 98 S70.

After poking around, found quite a few OBD2 postings. My local Auto Zone reads codes for FREE anytime as a customer service...and they have the code books. Used them a couple times for my GMC. For those looking at a $150 reader, you may wish to investigate this service if you are only for occasional use. OBTW, Pep Boys would not read codes for me.
