I am about to buy a used 1999 Volvo XC (V-70 turbo AWD XC?) and was surprised when I could not find a repair manual for it. I like to work on my own cars and was told by a mechanic that all of Volvo's manuals now are computerized and VERY expensive. I do not want to be able to diagnose a problem via computer, but I would like to have a reference guide for changing the oil, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, brakes, etc. Any suggestions? Chiltons and Haynes stop at 1998. THANKS!
