Tranny feels funny in corners!!?? 850

I dont like the feel of my transmission during cornering. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the tranny not putting out while under lateral G's. It seems that it doesnt want to pick a gear--Is this normal--a sign of failure or the result of an over active imagination brought about by too much reading here?--lol--TY H
