Sound reasonable S40-V40

Dealer informed me that I need two new rotors and brake pads up front. Total cost is $500. The car has about 38k miles. The front brake pads have been replaced a few times. This is the first time the rotors are being replaced. Does $500 sound reasonable? This is in the San Francisco bay area.
