Volvo-watching in Iraq... C70 1999

Well folks, we've finally stopped moving long enough to get a bit of internet access set up. I miss my Volvo ALMOST as much as I miss my wife! Got some cool photos over here, including one of me in front of "Valdemar II," my AH-64D with a big volvo logo for nose art :) It wasn't digital, so I'll have to scan it in when I get home. There are volvos in Iraq, too... mostly 200 series, beat up but not too rusty. Lots of orange and white versions for cabs. They seem to be the euro style, judging by the headlamps. The occasional 700 series, as well. Anyways, that's all I've got to report. Wife sent me the latest IPD bulletin in the mail to get me spending all this hostile fire pay before I ever get to see it! If I manage to ignore them and save my $$$, I might be able to change my license plate to "PAID 4" when I get back. Hopefully I can convince Scott Hart to hook me up with a 40th anniv. T-shirt :)
Take care & keep rolling,
-Jon
