t-belt change schedule for late '98 models-UPDATE

I signed up to alldata.com to be able to look into Volvo TSB's specifically for my late '98 v70(built on 7/98).

For '98 and earlier models is recommended to change t-belt at 70k, but '99 and newer use a 105k interval. '98 and earlier models that required the 70k interval, came with a hydraulic tensioner. '99 and newer models come with a mechanical tensioner, thus interval change is 105k.
In June '99 Volvo sent out a TSB #2210015 entitled "mechanical camshaft belt tensioner-adjusting" to address late '98 models with engines with SN1266128- and higher, on how to adjust the new design mechanical tensioner, which is the one used in '99 or newer models.

Even though this bulletin does not mention changing t-belt change interval to 105k, it can be assumed that these late '98 70 series models came with the '99 engine design anf fall to the 105k interval. I also understand just to be safe, everybody suggests changing the t-belt at 70k.

I am not recommending fellow bricksters change t-belts on their '98 at 105k, I am just trying to pass along some information that some soul out there might find useful.
Cheers:)
