The '99 70 series uses a new design t-belt tensioner and recommends replacement of it along with the t-belt at 105K miles, as opposed to 70K for earlier years.
Some late year '98 models came with this redesigned tensioner and t-belt and volvo put out a TSB to specify which late '98 models fall in the new schedule.
This is Technical Service Bulletin #2210015.
Does anyone out there in volvo land have this TSB's info, and would like to share with this board and post the TSB or email the info to me, I would appreciate it very much.
