Would Volvo Pay? V70-XC70

I had a 96 850 t5 wagon with 127,000 miles, always serviced by a indy and it caught on fire while driving. The insurance paid, but not what I owed. 2 months later (today), I recieved a recall from Volvo regarding 96-97 850's, that they could have a short in the heated seats and catch on fire. Any thoughts? Thanks, Linden 99xc
