Okay,
This may seem like a stupid question, but knowing that Volvo has done some pretty stupid things with transmission choices over the years, somehow I feel valid by asking this question.
Is it possible somewhere in the world to get a manual shift V40? I am sure that Volvo makes it somewhere, just not for Canada, which to me makes no sense whatsoever. I would put the sales job on the wife and get her to consider a V40 instead of an Impreza (imprezive car for the money). We don't need something as big as a V70 which is available in a stick shift. I am sure the Subie wold do well over the years, but I can't deny that I would rather have a Volvo again for the next 2 decades. Plus insurance companies charge an arm and a leg for Impreza's now that there are kids out crashing their WRX and STi moddels pretending to be Colin McRae or something.
Any input on how I might come across such a beast would be appreicated.
