Airpump 850 1996

I´ve just found out that my airpump was filled with water and totally out of order. The relay was bad aswell. This pump costs big dollares about 400 i think
and think I don´t replace it. It´s only there for keeping the exhausts at a lower level when the engine is cold. Is there somebody else out there who also
hasn´t replaced a bad pump.
