2003 V/S 70 Questions S70

Just gave up leased '99 S70 T5 for an '03 V70 2.4T. Owner's manual does not give instructions how to disable the daytime running lights. It says see the dealer. Just had to turn the little screw head that was on the light switch panel on the '99. Does anyone out there in Volvoland know how to accomplish the transformation? I just do not like the look of the daytime lights.

Secondly, only has 100 miles on it, but I'm a compulsive oil changer. How does one reset the service light. I think on the '99, the odometer reset was held while the key was turned on until the light went out. Is it the same for 2003?
