Struts 850

Well, I finally got up the nerve to replace my front strut seats which were both wasted. Thanks to all who helped along with my Haynes manual. The strut assy came out fairly easy. The anti roll bar connection link I found to come off easier if I used a thin pair of vice grips to hold the back from rotating when I unscrewed the nut. I used a ratchet the first time on the spring compressor. The second, I used an impact wrench that was much easier and faster. It was a bit scary seeing that big “CHINA” stamped into the metal of the spring compressor. I kept thinking of the board saying “Use a good one!” Oh well, I’m still here and Harbor Freight sells these for ten bucks. It is a bit scary though. Anyway, everything went back in easy. Is there a reason to get a wheel alignment after doing this? I really can’t see how I would have messed up the alignment. Thanks! Joe
