Rim size and winter tire size for V40? S40-V40

Two quick questions:

1) What is the accurate rim size and bolt pattern for winter rims for a 2001 V40? I've been getting different answers from different tire retailers.

2) Volvo recommends in the owners manual winter tire size of P195/55R15. Is that correct? My Volvo dealer is selling winter sets for S/V40 at P185/65R15.
