The front rotors on my '93 850 are undercut about 3/64" due to wear...both sides of both rotors. This measurement is based on the outside 1/16" around the very outside edge of the rotor being about 3/64" thicker that the smooth part of the rotor where the pads grab it. I suspect the rotors are now out-of-spec for thickness. The pads are down to 5/32" thick at this point.
Should the rotors be replaced? Will this condition do any other damage to the calipers or anything else if I don't replace the rotors? Thanks!
