Viscous Coupling Design V70-XC70

Hey All, If the Viscous Coupling has the Freewheeling / oneway clutch in it, and the "Torque Converter" like driving system... wouldn't this allow for a difference in Tire diameters without placing an undue stress on the Bevel Gear ? (I'm talking thread wear differences only) Tom (Love the all-wheel design idea)
