Okay, I'll spare you guys the boredom of reading a bunch of BS. Here is the nitty-gritty. The car is a 1994 Volvo 855 turbo. It is red (droooool! I have a weird fetish for red Volvos--it's no longer yellow or silver), has 135k miles, has the "R" body look (spoiler, wheels, etc.), tinted windows, mechanically sound, and in immaculate condition. The price? About $7900. I am in love!
The car was taken care of by a Porsche dealer. The guy sounded really cool...think he may be British--very nice person. I may take a peek at the wagon today. The car sounds like a cream puff based on what he has told me. The car is in tip-top condition, everything that should work works.
Now, the thing that scares me is the mileage, 135k! Should I let the scare me away? He told me that it has received all updated maintence. But 135! Advice, opinions, comments! Someone cure me from this sickness. Tell me that I shouldn't consider it!
