installing after market gauges C70

I would like to install after market volt and oil pressure gauges from
vdo. I would like to know where I can find instructions to install them
properly. How can I find out what type of sending unit and thread size I need
for the oil pressure gauge. Where is the sending unit located on the engine.
I plan to install them with A pillar pods.
