How long can I milk my brake pads..

My c70 has 32k miles. It has a manual transmission. Someone
told me a few years ago that 5-speeds can get much more
mileage out of their brakes due to no engine push at
red lights and slowing down. I drive pretty conservative.

Can anyone give me a ballpark mileage who owns an 850/70 series five speed.
Money is tight right now. Need to prolong pad and rotor change if
possible.
