Hello,
Today in Chicago it rained alot, and a friend drove me to the train station. On the way there was a large puddle of water that he splashed through. Almost immediately after that happened, some of the warning lights came on the dash and he told me that the power steering felt like it lost some power. The warning lights were the brakes, oil level, and a few others I can't remember. They glowed red for about 3 seconds, and I told him to press on the brakes to dry them and all the lights turned off. The lights came on again briefly a few seconds later and then turned off and stayed off.
I am guessing that the water touched the sensors and caused those lights. Has anyone experienced this or is this cause for alarm?
Thanks for your help.
Brian
