Interior details, getting frustrated. 850 1993

Hello All,

Minor stuff, but very irritating nonetheless:
The vanity mirrors on the back of the sun visors have repeatedly fallen off and have then been reglued. Now they are falling off again since we always use sun visors for the windshield. Coming out to the car in the morning after a hot day, the mirrors will simply hang suspended from the wires. Sigh!!! I'm aware of the issues with the crappy glue Volvo used from the factory, and no doubt the summers here in the South are simply too much for it to handle (I have reglued the tweeters and rear deck speakers twice). I have tried various glues and adhesives (including Liquid Nails), short of epoxy, and would appreciate some advice on a permanent fix. Is epoxy it?

Second, I replaced the instrument cluster lights a couple of weeks ago. In order to get the cluster out, I also undid the dash at the right hand corner, just to the left of where the the SRS dash cover (which is also coming unglued!)begins (the 90 degree curve, so to speak). Or, rather, it decided to come loose by itself. Now I can't reattach it and it sticks out a bit.
I'm humbled. Any ideas on how this particular dash area is attached and any ideas on reattaching it short of tearing the whole dash out?

Thank you in advance,
Joakim
