Stick with 16' wheels or go to 17'??? S70 1998

What do you guys think. Should I upgrade to 17" wheels on my T5 or stick with a high performance 16" stock? Will I gain that much more in handling in the upgrade or just spend allot of $$ for looks and very little performance?
