Integrated head unit or CAss + CD Changer unit? 850

Hi,

I know it is a subjective issue but which one you prefer and recommend. An integrated head unit with Cassette and CD or the Cass head unit and CD changer. Are there any disadvantages of having a CD changer? A refurb/used SC-816 is around $375, while a used SC-811 and a new ALPINE CD-Changer comes to $230. And are all head units use the same wire harness?
