I found a tip on this board that said that the proper operation of the breather aka oil trap can be checked by attaching a hose to the breather >>> flame trap housing hose and blowing in it. The poster said that if the breather is clean one should be able to blow in the hose without a resistance. I tried that and my breather would fail teh test if the test makes sense....
Antbody knows if this is a correct procedure for checking it ? If yes, and my breather is clogged, is tehre a way to remove it without taking off teh intake manifold ? If not, is it possible to clean it (flush it) with some solvent and see if there was an improvement ?
Any tips, experiences, hints are greatly appreciated.
