Selling a car with a new engine V70-XC70 2001

Would you disclose to a potential buyer that a car has had the engine replaced by Volvo? My friend had a new 2.4t installed, and wants to sell the car now. How does this affect the worth? It's a 2001 with 11k on it. Perfect otherwise.
