Moon Roof Wind Noise... 850

I have a '96 850 GLT with a moon roof. I am considering adding a wind visor in front of the moon roof with the expectation that the wind noise will be reduced.

Is this wishful thinking or do the wind visors (foils) actually work? If so what price do they usually run at? Are they a DIY or dealer install item?
