DTC codes from B sockets 850 1994

Anybody know how to get the DTC codes from the B side (specifically socket B-6) of the diagnostic connector? I plugged the jumper that was on the A cap into socket B-6 (with the ignition key in the ll position, pushed the button once and nothing. I'm trying to pull codes for the electric seat in my '94 850 turbo.
