upper strut mounts C70 1998

Has anyone had to replace an upper strut mount on a c70 or other 70 series vehicle? How difficult is this without the use of a lift and power tools? Is this something that the "weekend mechanic" can do or is it best to leave this to a professional (ie dealer)?

Also, if anyone has had this done by a dealer or indep mechanic what was the cost of the repair?

Thank for you help in advance.

Other info. (98 C70 HPT, 68,000 miles. Dealer diagnoised problem and I have verified)
