P0172 code after idling 850 1996

I am re posting this message, hoping that someone
could give me some hints in the right direction


Hi all you experienced guys out there.
I have a problem with my -96 854R that I cant seem to get a grip around.
After about 15 min of idling time, when hot, the check engine light came on,
After reading code P0172, "Bank 1 too rich" we reset the code and it was fine
for about a week. Then today after about 2 min of idling following
a cold start at approx. 50F the light appeared again. It seems that I am running rich only at idle, because gong down the road i am registering about 24.2 MPG wich is normal to my car and my way of driving.
I would appreciate any help in this matter.
