Just had the 45k service done on our 2.9. I brought along a printed summary of the entries reagarding the breather pipe problems discussed here earlier and got a, "Hmmmm, never heard of that one before" from the service writer. The summary included the simple fix described in the discussion, and when I returned they had performed the fix - No Charge! They also installed a "filter" which improved my AM radio reception A BUNCH!

They also installed new batteries in our remotes which improved their performance considerably.

I am very impressed with this dealer. They seem to listen.

I am considering a "bumper-to-bumper" extension to the 50k mi. warranty. I don't believe it would be prudent to own this car without one. Although we have not had any real problems with it, I have a feeling that it could be an expensive ride to the 150k mi. we have put on our other Volvos. Anyone out there have a "pet" company to deal with (or not to)?
