I am trying to do a good deed. A friend of my daughter owns a 1992 Volvo 940 that her grandmother purchased from a local Volvo dealership in NJ. The Volvo has less than 200,000 miles. Recently the Volvo stalled. She had it towed to the dealership that sold it. She was told my the service rep that the dealership did not like working on older Volvos, but for $2,500 it could "fix" the Volvo with parts that Volvo doesn't sell anymore. It looks like the dealership is trying to take advantage of this young woman. Fortunately, she has Premiere AAA coverage and her Volvo can be towed for 100 miles for free. Can anyone recommend a private Volvo repair shop located in Rivereton, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ. This is in the area of Southern New Jersey just north of Philadelphia.
