Does anyone have a brake piping diagram for the 1998 V70 or 96-97 850's ? The dual master cylinder ABS system must not be dual-diagonal because there is only 1 brake line serving both rear wheels.
Perhaps the system is configured as front calipers on one master cylinder section and rear calipers on the other section ? Does that mean that ABS modulates the front calipers individually and the rear calipers as a pair for a total of 3 ABS circuits ? This is different than the 2001-2006 V70s that have the dual master cylinder configured as dual-diagonal and 4 ABS circuits.
I am asking because the rear brakes are not applying much force on one of my 1998 V70s. Rust spots on the rear rotors are not scrubbed off after a day of city driving. On my other 98 V70, all 4 rotors are equally bright and shiny.
Thanks,
Mike
