Trying to buy a new Bosch Fuel Pressure Regulator - Can't find it anywhere 850

Hello All,

I have a 1996 850 GLT wagon, non-turbo with a 5 speed manual. The Bosch Fuel Pressure Regulator (Volvo Part # 1275773) has gone bad and Volvo doesn't sell it anymore. The Bosch part number for this part is #0280161504.

I may be able to find a used one, but I have been advised by my mechanic, that if these regulators are allowed to "dry out" that is, they are not immersed in gasoline, the internal diaphragm begins to dry out and become fragile and could fail. But if I can't fine a new one, I may have to take that risk.

Can anyone suggest where I could find a new regulator? Thanks to all who reply.
