ABS module Removal 2006 Volvo V50 non-turbo V50 2006

Help please, ABS module Removal 2006 Volvo V50 Non-Turbo VIN: YV1MW382462165273

Things I can not yet do.

- Remove the wire harness from the firewall. I can not 'free' the lever
- find a recommended company to repair the ABS controller/electronics
- determine screws that hold the hydraulics to the controller and
how to remove all from firewall.
- how do I determine whether I have DTSC on my V50? I think I don't.

I assume the harness connecter resembles the red-orange connector on the
driver side of the air box at the front of the car, that is,
there is a lever which draws in the connector or pushes it out.
I am guessing the lever pivot from the top. It will not budge.

This disconnection is a one-off, due to the 150k+ plus on the car.
I am not against, say damaging the lever and the use of silicone
or mastic to make it stay put when I am done.

As you can see in the photo I have removed the pump. I plan now to
remove the brake lines from the now visible hydraulics part after
emptying the brake fluid reservoir.

Many thanks for reading this. I would be very grateful for any advice.
