I have a 2016 XC90 T8 Hybrid Inscription. I recently applied Nu-Finish liquid car wax, which in my opinion is a great product. In my rush to wax the car, I did not bother to tape off the front and rear mud guards to prevent the Nu-Finish liquid wax from getting on them. That was a mistake. When I went to rub off wax that had inadvertently gotten onto the mudguards, I was left with a “white stain” on the plastic. I used a product that normally works wonders in removing stains from surfaces called “Goof-Off” and it made little improvement. I know that over time, the white stain from the Nu-Finish wax will wear off.

However, if anyone can recommend a product that would immediately remove this wax stain off the mudguards I would cheer. I am happy with the wax on the pained surfaces of the T8, but white stain on the black mudguards is an eyesore.
