All,
I would like to ask something that's been weighing on my mind for a while.
I just purchased a 2000 V70, production date of 07/99, and will pick it up next week. It is an original-owner car - the owners picked it up at the factory in Gothenburg immediately after it was built and have owned it ever since. The car is in near-mint condition, and only needs two front calipers and two rear brake pads to make it perfect. Car has 119k miles on it and is a non-turbo model.
Now here's the kicker - this V70 is equipped with a 5-speed manual (M56). That was the reason I bought it. And I'm only paying $1,400 for it. How rare are normally-aspirated 2000 V70s with manual transmissions? (Really) I've been given conflicting numbers but I have been told that finding an NA V70 with a manual is very hard, especially one that has been owned and cherished by the original owners.
