Both of my rear shocks are shot; one of them still leaking fluid, the other is dry. It's time. I am wondering if this is a DIY for someone with a jack and stands and basic skills/tools, or if it's an involved process better left to my Volvo independent guy, who is great. Also, I have seen some talk about "Nivomats," but I don't know how to determine whether that is what my car has (It was assembled in Belgium in 11/97). If they are Nivomats, can they be replaced by something else?
As always, thanks in advance!
