pwer antenna on the fritz S70 1998

antenna no longer raises/ lowers with pressing of radio switch or startup of car....radio works fine, with manual up/down of antenna provided by yours truly...no wiring was disturbed, and checked fuse, fuse okay...before I spend the dollars on a new motor, anything else I can check? how hard to replace the motor if I have to go that route?
