Greetings-
I recently found a 2002 Volvo XC70 that was well maintained but had a few small issues that made the original owners move on (flickering cluster, broken spring and a faulty coil pack). I like these cars and am ready to move up from my 1998 XC70.
Fluids changed, tune up completed, codes cleared and the front suspension was replaced. Everything was going well until I sent the cluster out for a rebuild. I just got an email that it is unrepairable as two of the pins were too far gone.
Now I am at a loss - can I put a use cluster into this vehicle? I really have no interest in a $2000 dealer repair - I am looking to do this myself. What do I need to look for? What d I need to look out for? I would appreciate any guidance.
Thanks!
Mike
