DENSO IRIDIUM PLUGS S70 1998

Has anyone tried Denso Iridium Plugs in a Volvo? The Denso website actually provides a part no. specifically for my S70, but I'm not sure if these will really improve (or screw up!)my car's performance. These are probably the most expensive plugs money can buy and I just want to be sure before I fork out the cash!
