Oil pressure port to measure oil pressure V70-XC70 2004

My 2.4 litre has a tapered metric pipe plug (20mm X 1.5mm pitch with a 10mm allen hex) is plugging a hole to the left (passenger side) of the oil filter at the bottom of the oil pan.

Does this plug seal access to the pressure side of the oil gallery?

I want to install a tap to run a pressure line to around the top of the rad. I did this with all my 740/940's to quickly check oil pressure.

Have I got the right plug?
