Noisy A/C V70-XC70 1998

This is only my 2nd summer with this car but I don't remember the A/C compressor being that noisy. I recall it was kinda loud, but not like this. Are they all that loud? Definitely hear the compressor while it's on and then an intermittent "hissing" when idling (compressor not running).

Is this normal?
