Contemplating buying a new S40 S40-V40 2001

I'm thinking of leasing a new 2001 S40 next month in the end of June. How do you like your volvo's. If you have a newer S40 that would be quite helpful. It seems to be a really good choice of cars form the ones out on the market right now. Are there any hidden things I should know about it?
