Loud Whining when driving 850 1995

Initially, I thought that it was front wheel bearing but it wasn't. This whining sound is loud during acceleration and increases pitch with rpm. If I let go the gas pedal and let car running (slow down), whining sound will stop. It does not happen at idle but starting at 15 mph or so. I could also hear the whining sound when starting the car then it goes away at idle speed.

What could this whining sound be ? This whining first happened in the beginning of this year (winter time).

Any suggestion is appreciated.
