A year or so ago, I had one of the Nationwide brake franshized shop to replace the original Volvo front and rear rotors and pads with their own. They told me that they have lifetime warranty on parts & labor and never mentioned that I should anticipate any annoying squealing problems. Since then we have taken the car back so many times complaining about the high squealing noise from the four wheels. After few trials, they eliminated the squealing noise from the front wheels, but the rear wheels still causing us a squealing problem. The shop manager told me that there is nothing that they can do to eliminate the squealing noise that is coming from the rear wheels. The questions are: (1) Is this true? (2) Do you think they forgot to replace the anti-squealing shims, (if any)? (3) Will Volvo dealer be able to take care of my problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
