C70 Door Sill Plates C70 2000

I checked w/ one of my favorite o.e. suppliers - I'm told you can't get door sill plates for a C70 Conv.

The o.e. clear "tape" on the sill is a bit torn, and I'd rather have a formed stainless steel plate to ensure I don't mar the paint

I guess due to the low quantity of C70's, Volvo's not making them. I haven't checked on door fit and whether it could accept a downwards bend, but I'd love to find a source - whether it be for another car w/ a similarly large door that happens to fit a C70 or even arrange manufacture of a few dozen in plastic or stainless.

Thoughts?
