Issues with my car, ugh! V70-XC70

I have a 2002 XC70 with 91000 original miles. When I start the car there is a message that pops up stating the alarm system needs maintenance. Does anyone know what they are referring to? My biggest problem is the trip meter resets itself. When I gas up I reset the trip meter to 0 for both T1 and T2. It seems that when I use my key fob to unlock the car the trip meter has reset itself back to 0 when I start the car. Sometimes both T1 and T2 have been reset to 0 and other times it is only T1 that has been reset. Any ideas or solutions? My last issue is with the seat memory, it no longer seems to be holding the seat positions and virtually does nothing when I press buttons 1, 2 or 3. Insights on this? Thanks in advance for all help!
