2000 S70 non turbo, runs sluggish between 1000 and 2000 RPM's S70

My 2000 S70 boogs down between 1000 and 2000 RPM's however runs fine once it goes above 2000 RPM's. Not a show stopper but is noticable.

I would appreciate some guidance.
