When I put the snows on last weekend I checked the pads. Fronts ok, rears not so good. Bought a set of pads and took one of the carriers out. How in the world do you collapse the piston to make room for new pads? The piston didn't seem to push in the way I am used to. Ok, so a caliper that has a built in parking brake should screw back in. A tenative attempt to turn the piston didn't do anything either. Not having broken anything yet, I put it back together. How should I go about getting the piston to retract?
